LED Project at IQ Aberdeen

‘Following a tender process to replace all light fittings in our undercover car park to LEDs DB Group were awarded the contract. The car park is beneath a hotel, used by tenants during the day and members of the public in the evening proved a challenge. An initial strategy was agreed for the installation of the light fittings which had to be reviewed and amended not long after work commenced. DB and their sub-contractor were very accommodating and flexible in their approach allowing the project to be completed within an acceptable timescale.

Light fittings suit the car park environment and to date, we have achieved a 60% reduction in energy costs. A saving in maintenance costs should also be achieved over time due to the reduced replacement of parts.
